Terms & Conditions

The contract is between Granite World London Ltd and the person whose order of goods is accepted by Granite World London Ltd (the customer). It is the responsibility of the customer to provide measurements, specifications and a diagram that is representative of their requirements. Granite World London Ltd shall be under no liability in respect of any defects in the goods arising from any design, drawing or specification supplied by or on behalf of the customer


The final price of the goods quoted is based upon the information provided by the customer, and is subject to any changes up to and including templating.


An Initial deposit of 50% is required on the day we come to templates once a price has been agreed. The remainder of the balance is due on the day we complete the installation the material remains the property of Granite World London Ltd until full payment has been received.

Material Stone

All natural materials supplied are subject to their natural markings, variations in color, fissures and vents. Due to the natural markings in granite, quartz, marble, limestone and sandstone, it may not be possible to provide an exact resemblance to the samples. We are, however, always pleased to show customers photographs of the granite slabs to be used and arrangements can be made to visit the factory to view.

Processing Time

We will endeavour to deliver and fit granite worktops within 2-5 working days after templating subject to material availability. Any dates we specify for templating, delivery and installation of our products are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for templating, delivery and installation of our products.

Tempating Conditions

All surfaces/cabinets to be templated must be complete, flat and level. Please ensure no additions or alterations to the kitchen furniture or appliances, etc, take place after templating. Any freestanding appliances such as fridges, cookers etc. that the kitchen worktops abut to must be in their final position. All sinks and taps must be disconnected but available on site. Any gas or electric hobs must be disconnected but available on site. Under mounted and Belfast/butler type sinks must be fixed in position. Any units to be fitted directly on top of the worktops must be fitted after the worktops or on adjustable wall brackets to give adequate clearance. It is not acceptable to leave a gap and expect to slide the worktops under. If any walls around the worktops are to be plastered, they must be done either before templating or after fixing the worktops. A representative must be present during templating to agree all relevant details such as overhang, edge detail, height of splash backs, joints, etc.

Fixing Conditions

The installers will require clear and unobstructed access to your kitchen, to carry in the work surfaces. (n.b. 30mm granite weighs 90kg/m2) Any over mounted sink, tap or hob must be disconnected. All electrical, gas and sink fittings that interfere in any way with the installation of granite work surfaces to be removed. Any tiling in areas around the work surfaces must take place after fixing work surfaces. Standing on the finished worktops must be avoided. Any work carried out after templating such as plastering the walls or changing the location of cabinets, hobs, sinks and taps can affect the finished product. Thus we reserve the right to charge for this to be rectified.

Plumbing and Electrical

We are not corgi registered thus unable to carry out electrical work of any kind on site, this also applies for plumbing. If you have not arranged suitable professional and we are not able to carry out our work, if we need to return at a further date or time a RE-VISIT FEE MAY APPLY.


We can guarantee the quality of our workmanship when it comes to the installation and supply of stone products. But the stone itself holds no guarantee.

Card Payment Privacy Policy

Card/Credit Card Payments taken by any Representative of Granite World London Ltd are done over the phone only, we do not store any customers card details on file at any time.


Cancellation/refund: On orders where granite/quartz/marble/limestone/sandstone materials, which are not part of our stock range, have been bought in, no refunds will be given.
No refunds will be given on sinks and taps which are not part of our stock.
No refunds will be given once manufacture has commenced
